1) You are..... Taylor Brooks, at least I think so. I should check with my doctor.
2) What is my birthday....... I was born on March 6th, but I truly did not come alive until I started working at the MIX.
3) What is my hometown..... I am a native of the town of Duke Center, PA. Well, I quess it is not quite a town, but a village, or maybe a hamlet. Oh, let's face it, it is just a collection of hunting camps.
4) Where did I graduate from....... Otto-Eldred High School, home of the Terrors and the Whopper....Sorry, that's Burger King.
5) How did I get my start in radio.....A strange man, Chris Hicks, asked me to air the Sabres games, they haven't let me out of the cage since.
6) What was my most embarassing on-air moment.... I was board-oping a remote for Tom Power. Instead of announcing the business he was at, I named their competitors on the other side of town.
7) Name five songs I love..... There are so many, but here are five: The Green Fields of France by The Dropkick Murphys, American Pie by Don McClean, Beer for My Horses by Toby Keith, Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner by Warren Zeavon, and The Green Berets by Sgt. Barry Sadler
8) What are some of my favorite movies....... I can assure you, nothing girly...... Braveheart, The Replacements, Gladiator, Rocky, and The Hammer. All manly movies to match my manly stench.
9) What TV shows do I watch..... I do not have television at my house, but when I get a chance I watch: The Soup- Joel Mchale is one funny dude, Hulk Hogan's Championship Wrestling- Danny Bonaduce is a sick man, UFC- pain is good, when it is not mine, Sponge Bob SquarePants- I love his positive attitude, and reruns of the A-Team- BEST SHOW EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10) What websites do I frequently check out........ Newgrounds.com - the best of the underground society, Clevelandbrowns.com - I always like to see how my team is going to shoot itself in the foot this week, Drudgereport.com - news the right way, from the Right Side, and pandora.com - to expand my musical horizons.
11) Who is my favorite train-wreck celebrity......... Mel Gibson, the man had it all, hit movies, sexy good looks ( at least this is what the women tell me), money, and fame. He blew it all because he got drunk and revealed what a bigot he is.
12) What are my favorite things about living in the Twin Tiers..........a)My family - they might not be that great, but let's face, it neither am I. b) The area- it is not to crowded and I can pretend I am a tough moutain man. c) Jordan's chicken wings - Heaven in meat and sauce form.
13) If I had to live somewhere else, where would it be....... Up North, as North as humanly possible. To be honest, I really hate almost everyone.
14) What interests and hobbies do I have........Well, it might be geeky, but I love comic books. OK, it might not be geeky, it is geeky. I also like to read almost anything else. Like a typical geek, I like computer games when I can afford them.
15) Any pet peeves......Why yes, now that you mentioned it, there are a few. I hate people who wear hats into restaurants. Didn't their parents teach them any manners. I would like to smack the hats right of their heads. I also hate flip-flops. I do not want to see your icky, deformed, dirty feet. Are you to lazy to put on shoes. We will have a whole generation of people with bad backs and bad feet, and I will get stuck paying their medical bills. There are so many more, but that tirade wore me out.
16) What is my favorite color ........ Blue, like the color of my eyes. I think I will check them out in a mirror right now. I am so handsome. I am a perfect specimen, wait, what, where was I? Color? Blue, for sure.
17) What have I been listening to in my car lately.........The MIX 101.5! Can I have my paycheck now? If not the Mix then a mixed cd of my own recording. How totally 80's is that.
18) Name one extraordinary fact about myself....... Some say I ooze of the stench of manliness. I say it is the scent of old cheese......and desperation.
19) Do I have any future plans....... I would like more air time! What! It's not OK to say that. Fine. Really, I want to work hard enough now, that I can enjoy my life in the future. Preferably, in a state different than my wife.
20) Am I in a romantic relationship.... Well I am married, but I wouldn't call it a romantic relationship. More like a fight to the death.
21) When can you here me on the MIX....... I am on Monday through Friday from 1 pm to 3 pm and Sundays from 10 am until 3 pm. |
